Dale Earnhardt Jr. has waved the checkered flag on his single life.
He's ready to cross the finish line with just one woman by his side.
Indeed, the race to the altar is now on for this NASCAR legend and Amy Reimann, as Earnhardt proposed this week to his girlfriend of over five years.
"Looking forward to the rest of my life with this amazing girl," Earnhardt Tweeted on Wednesday, including with his message a romantic photo of the couple soon after Reimann accepted his proposal.
The bride-to-be also chimed in via social media, writing on her Twitter account:
"I'm completely overwhelmed with love & joy. Happiest girl in the world! I love you so much @DaleJr."
And, finally, Dale's sister - who is vacationing with the couple in Germany - Tweeted:
"Adding another sis-in-law to the family! Happy for my brother and his future bride! Herzlichen Glückwunsch!"
This will make the first marriage for Earnhardt, 40, who is widely considered to be the most popular driver in NASCAR.
