Earlier this week, a random Tinder user named Sabrina shared a post-sex selfie of Julian Edelman online.
The Patriots wide receiver was sleeping when the photo was taken and the "non-consensual selfie" landed Sabrina in some hot water, and even got her banned from her favorite Boston nightclubs.
Sabrina publicly apologized after receiving admonishing texts from the several other Pats players that she's "friends" with, and it seems all has mostly been forgiven.
Chrissy Teigen may be a Seahawks fan, but on the topic of Tinder girl's bawdy boast, the model has Edelman and the Patrtiots' backs 100% of the way:
"Why do chicks do that sh-t?" Chrissy says to TMZ. "It's so ridiculous. "I think these girls should just relax a bit."
Chrissy seems to think Sabrina might have a history of this sort of "slut-shaming" behavior, because - as she points out - it takes more than a selfie to get booted from a club in Boston.
"You know how hard you have to go to get blacklisted by a club in Boston?" Chrissy says.
She's got a point. Norm got hammered at Cheers every single night and everyone still knew his name.
Anyway, the Edelman situation has opened up an interesting debate, with many women claiming that if the roles were a reversed and a man posted a selfie after a banging a famous woman, he'd be praised for it.
We have our doubts about that, but who knows? Maybe everyone should just play it safe by respecting their sex partners' right to privacy. Even if they did just win the Super Bowl.
