The defense has rested in the Oscar Pistorius murder trial, but we likely won't see a verdict handed down until mid-August at the earliest.
In the meantime, the South African Olympic hero is a free man, and while hanging out in the VIP room of a Johannesburg club last night, Pistorius was reportedly involved in a violent altercation with another patron.
TMZ reports that an unidentified man began to question Pistorius about his trial, and Pistorius instigated the violence by poking the man in the chest.
The man responded by shoving the double-amputee sprinter, causing him to fall to the floor.
Pistorius curently stands accused of murdering Reeva Steenkamp, his girlfriend of three months.
His reps don't deny that the fight took place, but they claim that Pistorius was simply defending himself against an unprovoked assault.
Similarly, Pistorius' lawyers don't deny that he shot Steenkamp through a bathroom door. They do, however, claim that Pistorius believed an intruder was hiding in his bathroom and that he fired to protect himself and his property.
If the judge doesn't buy Pistorius' unlikely story, the former national hero may spend the rest of his life behind bars.
