You've heard of Snakes on a Plane?
How about a single snake in a locker room?
Thomas Robinson of the Portland Trail Blazers discovered this animal inside his locker prior to his team’s playoff matchup with the San Antonio Spurs last night.
It measured over three feet in length and was photographed by teammate Mo Williams.
"We get in the lockerroom n its a damn snake, yea a snake in the lockerroom," Williams wrote as a caption. "Man we was scared as hell."
Casey Holdahl, the team's digital reporter, described the encounter on Twitter:
"Robinson sat in his locker, saw something curled up in the corner, did a double take, realized it was a rattler, jumped about 20 feet."
It's unclear (and unlikely) that the Spurs planted the snake on purpose... but it may have helped their fortune in the end.
San Antonio cruised to 114-97 victory and now leads this Best-of-7 series two games to none.
And while we're on the subject of crazy snake stories...
